Ziele

Dieses Powercamp behandelt die wichtigsten Aspekte der Installation, Konfiguration und Verwaltung einer hochverfügbaren XenApp- und XenDesktop 7.1x-Umgebung sowie einer vollständigen Provisioning Services 7.1x-Umgebung für die Bildverwaltung.

Nach dem Seminar verstehen Sie die Lösungsarchitektur und -kommunikation sowie die Faktoren, die zu einer erfolgreichen Implementierung beitragen. Sie erlernen im Seminar, wie Sie Apps und Desktops (MCS und PVS) vorbereiten und bereitstellen können. Weitere Themen sind etwa das Installieren und Konfigurieren von StoreFront und Citrix Receiver; die Einrichtung der Profilverwaltung; das Konfigurieren von Richtlinien, Druckfunktionen und grundlegende Sicherheitsfunktionen. Erfahren Sie außerdem, wie Sie mit Citrix Director die Umgebung überwachen und Fehler beheben können.

Voraussetzungen
Für dieses Seminar werden folgende Kenntnisse empfohlen:

  • wenig oder keine Erfahrung mit der 7.x-Version der Plattform.

  • Citrix empfiehlt zur Vorbereitung den kostenlosen eLearning Kurs: CXA-105 XenApp- und XenDesktop-Grundlagen.

  • Vorkenntnisse über Legacy-Versionen von XenApp oder XenDesktop sind ebenfalls von Vorteil, aber nicht verpflichtend
